That's the alleged discrepancy between the election of 2020 and 2024. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/11/9/fact-check-did-20-million-democratic-votes-disappear

The meeting with Zelensky this week, Trump seemed to be nice to him early on.

Then Zelensky started complaining about Russia from 2014.

Trump does not want to hear that. He just wants to stop the war & be hailed a hero.

Suspect Zelensky would be quite happy to continue fighting. Providing other countries provide the billions.

If America stop funding Ukraine, wonder if Europe will increase there funding to cover the shortfall.

Don't believe Starmer & co would get a resolution. Trump said he would do so on day one. Believe he is getting agitated that he has not done so yet.

Funniest thing in the meeting was when Trump said 'you've spoken enough'. He rarely lets others do any talking.

Zelensky should have just smiled and agreed with everything. Probably did not want the mineral deal.

I do agree he should wear suits. He's meeting world leaders in there countries, not popping out for a pint of milk.

I think the suit thing was used to belittle him.  The US are a strange ally. One minute they are setting up a war between Russia and Ukraine, the next minute they are funding that war on Ukraine's behalf, and then the next minute they are cutting Ukraine loose and hanging them out to dry.

If I was a country being asked to do the CIA's bidding, I would be wary. All it takes is for a change of president and you could regret cooperating with them in the first place.

Think Trump may stop military aid.

As Zelensky said, there is a big ocean between Europe & America. Trump has always said 'America first'.

Zelensky could agree to give up the land Russia have taken. That land has probably been totally destoyed & needs years of rebuilding.

The 3 of them really need to meet. That would be a start.

Putin may refuse to compromise. Knowing America may withdraw funding to Ukraine.

If America continue to fund Ukraine, Putin may be happy to keep fighting. He hasn't stopped so far.

Believe Trump wants Ukraine to do all the compromising.

Russia will fight on regardless of whether America fund Ukraine.

If America stop funding Ukraine, Russia win & become more powerful.

The only way round it I can see is if Russia & Ukraine agree the land already seized by Russia is now classed as Russia. Putin then withdraws.

If Putin agrees to withdraw providing he keeps the land already seized, but Zelensky rejects that deal, Trump will definately stop funding Ukraine!

Maybe the deal in my last post has been suggested. But both Putin & Zelensky rejected it.

Trump is only still funding Ukraine as he does not want Russia getting more powerful. He wants Zelensky to make other compromises but he is refusing.
