Nugs tried to insinuate Julie but realised he was insinuating Bamber as well. Then answered his own question by saying Bamber would be too upset to identify the twins.

I assume Bamber could identify the twins apart, but didn't. There is no record of him offerring or being asked. I suspect he was busy giving the police his account of Nevill's 'mysterious' phone call & underlining Sheila's guilt.

Anyway Julie & AE identified the bodies. That isn't going to get a 32 year old conviction overturned.
