Both involved Julie Mugford. Either as an accomplice, or an early morning confidant.
After both crimes the relatives quickly had Bamber as a suspect.
Both were one off crimes which Bamber would not be able to do again.
Both crimes saw Bamber quickly start spending the financial gains.
Both crime locations Bamber knew how to get into the building.
Both crimes Bamber knew how to get out of the building.

Both were crimes Bamber would never had admitted to comitting to the police, unless Julie had come forward. He has so far only admitted to the caravan break in
