What I also find interesting is who in thier right minds would stay with a man that had beaten her over the head with a hammer . That is seriously confusing.

That's any easy enough question to ask if you never had the spirit crush out of you, quite probably from childhood. A woman with a well honed sense of self worth wouldn't put up with it, but then a woman like that would be highly unlikely to hitch up with a potential wife beater in the first place.

I'm not saying that at all, I'm just questioning how odd for a woman to stay with a man who took a Hammer to her head. What's your take on that. I'd have been running for the hills and been petrified of him. ,

other than that the evidence does point to him being guilty. So I'm with you on that.

Does the state he lived in allow post,y graphs in as evidence do you know. They need to do what we do and not allow it if they do as they can't have it both ways.

Well, there are certain variables such as fear for self. Fear for wider family. Learned dependency on the abuser. Fear can paralyze physically, mentally and emotionally.

In the words that you'd use-------------that case isn't about Jeremy Bamber.

This is how I remember you passing off " similarities " to which others have suggested.

It has been argued that no one would try to pass off an two shot murer as a suicide! So it has EVERYTHING to do with this forum discussion!

Jeremy must be very dumb shooting his sister twice in the neck - someone did, then calling the police saying she did it. Plis English people, I do not get it.

OK, I opened a thread for discussion after watching the documentary last night (yes, I was up late again for those who'd like to comment!) and who was the first to get personal? As usual - Lookout.

But this isn't about what you see as being "no need". This is about what the killer thought was necessary in the immediacy of the situation he was in.

The first shot was instantly fatal. Thus no need what so ever for the alleged killer to fire at someone already dead. After all 'forensics is not your thing'  :P

you have your professional head on Jane. Do you know of any cases where a woman would do this. I agree women sometimes stay with men that batter them but when its serious like that they usually get the he'll away from fear don't they?

I wasn't aiming that at you Notsure.

Battered women often stay with their abuses, I can't say that I would but we don't know what went on in their lives.

I believe that if both sides agree, they can be allowed in evidence. This guy passed two, just shows how inaccurate they are.

Not sure what point you're making? No one said he HAD to shoot her twice - point is, he did. Or is this one innocent also?

Hmm, but psychology IS. SO, I don't believe for one moment that Sheila was psychotic. There was NOTHING in her behaviours to suggest such, ergo, HAD she shot herself once, and missed, with the injury she'd inflicted, I don't believe she'd have been capable of doing it again. However, I can quite see that. if she wasn't ready to be dead, she could easily have moved as Jeremy took the first shot. Maybe moaned slightly. WHAT was he to do. He could have left her to bleed but he couldn't guarantee how long it would take. He didn't know the wound was mortal, ie not instantly fatal. It was very inconsiderate of her not to die. He had a dilemma on his hands. He couldn't just leave her so he had no choice. If he wanted to pass it off as suicide he couldn't strangle he. He HAD to take a second shot. Not perfect, but he got away with it for a month.

aren't they arguing that this type of gun can fire twice accidentally or something like that?

Unfortunately, Notsure, I do. One poor woman did manage, with help, to get spirited away, but suffered until she died. Another tried, but died in the process. Both were subjected to years of abuse.
