Thank you, Maggie - I would be grateful for an explanation of why the thread was unlocked at the specific time it was.

Also, when the thread on benefit fraud (which was the thread that brought me back to posting here) disappeared, you said that you removed the thread and had posted an explanation for your reasons for doing so. Can I ask you, please, to re-post that explanation here - it was a debate  in which I was particularly interested, it seemed like a shame that it was removed before it had even begun.

Many thanks.

Hello Sandra,  I removed the thread on Benefit Fraud because it was causing personal abuse.

Please feel free to start another thread on Benefit Fraud as long as it's objective and unrelated to any personal insinuations.  Thank you. :)

As far as I can see from the moderation log the thread was not locked at any stage.  I certainly never locked or unlocked it.

Your posts are very telling nugnug. Has anyone else noticed how none of the cases he regularly posts on are ever guilty. ::) Gotta keep it going round haven't you nugs.

I've bumped a few posts up nugnug because I'd like to discuss the Billy Middleton case with you and ask if you think he'll ever be re-tried for the murder of his baby daughter. So far there isn't one case you haven't posted on. So it will be interesting to see how involved you are prepared to get in this discussion.

why are you so desprate to aviod a simple qustion about fornsic in your husbands case.

Ok, thanks for that. Where did this post come from?

This thread has been locked ..... thank you

And why were there no posts on it between 3rd March 2016 and 11th January 2017?

I must have locked it back then Sandra but it may not have been locked for more than a short time while I edited posts.  I have no memory of locking it but that's not surprising.

This is Neil's area not mine, I don't have access to his records and he has logged off but I would suggest that generally only Stephanie posted on this site and she has barely been on the forum for a long time until the past couple of weeks.  :-\

I'm sure Neil will reply to you tomorrow.

The forum moderation log does not go back as far as March 2016.  It is clear from the post which you have quoted that Maggie locked the thread then.  Since there is no record of it being unlocked I can only assume that it was unlocked shortly after being locked, probably following some removal or editing of posts.  It was certainly not unlocked recently, as you imply, for the purpose of enabling Stephanie Hall to post.  As you will have seen Stephanie has quite frequently revived old threads by posting on them.  I assume that is what happened here.  The mods had no involvement in it.

Thank you both for this, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Apologies if my initial impression offended anyone
