Then why did Pc West not pass on "about 26 or 27" to Bonnett?

You would have to ask West and Bonnett what they said to each other.

Cop lovers will never except that they lie, fabricate, forge and conspire, dependant upon the mindset of a cop, at a given moment in an investigation! In this particular case, the cops changed mindset! Firstly they gathered evidence with the mindset that Sheila had shot the others, etc, then they changed their mindset and concentrated on trying to convict Jeremy for the murders! The evidence they gathered was different in each case! Much of what was gathered in the first instance is being withheld! It is now known, that PC Wests 3.36am log was gathered as part of the first investigation (SC/688/85), and that Malcom Bonnetts 3.26am log gathered as part of the second part (SC/786/85) of the investigation, once police mindset had changed! The introduction of PC West trying it on, by claiming he may have made a mistake regarding the time he received Jeremy's (3.26am) was a way of editing the first call (3.26am) into the 3.36am second one!
