It seems that in Britain if you can persuade 10 people of something, then that becomes a fact.

Yes that's about the size of it, but then there are various processes in place to question that 'fact' such as the court of appeal.

Well just another monstrous ruling by the corrupt law lords of this land. If JB finds it so difficult to get an appeal how is it that these men can find it so easy to increase his sentence to a whole life tarriff at a blink of an eye. Even the report of the trial was inaccurate. I wonder if their riling is against the law itself? How can just a few men change the duration of a person's sentence at their whim?

Yes it does seem like a bit too much power in just a few peoples hands. What I wasn't aware of and I think is really bad, is the delay in notifying the convicted of the change in tariff.
