Neville, June. Or Bamber. If a window is worth shutting.....
Or the said bedroom window fingerprinted/investigated,on the outside ?
Hi Jane, I am not saying that I believe they colluded but rather that it is a possibility because we only know what has been written and spoken of, we have no knowledge about whether JB and Sheila were in touch by phone or any other way or what her true state of mind was etc. Her friends may or may not have known her true and complete state of mind and how psychotic she may or may not have been.In the same vein, we have no idea about Julie Mugford and where her head was at this time other than what she has chosen to tell us. There has always been a deafening silence from Jeremy on the subject of JM.In truth we know very little about the individuals in this case apart from hearsay from friends and their own evidence. The victims sadly are unable to give their accounts. So many red herrings and we will never know the details of this case but I think as far as t is possible at this time we know the truth.
Probably not Lookout, don't believe there's any record of finger printing or even serious consideration of an easily accessed open window. Even tho I am leaning more towards guilty, I do believe EP made a proper dogs breakfast of the inquiry and have little to be proud of.
In light of the window catch pic on twitter, why haven't EP denied it if they think it's wrong ? I know officers use the site and EP are no exception,so why the silence ?
Maybe because as Julie herself related, he had "entrusted his life to her" and ultimately as he saw it he was betrayed. Of course had this just been a matter of white collar Osea Road crime I think most would have forgiven him after 31 years, but the death of five is another matter entirely.
A) I don't imagine ANY of those officers using "twitter" now had anything to do with the case OR were even born when it happened.B) If that is the case then extreme caution would be their watchword, EVEN if their silence on the matter has been suggested.
There were dozens of officers in and out of the farmhouse. Many would be coming up for retirement ( 55 ? ) who would have remembered the tragedy clearly ( their job not to forget anything, isn't it ? ) so why " caution " especially those who have retired because they're then exempt from any backlash anyway and can't be charged with wrong-doing ?
I tend to think if he felt betrayed by Julie we would have heard about it and the fact he is so quiet about her and any involvement or knowledge she may have had is because he would incriminate himself by voicing his sense of betrayal and anger.
I have the same hunch about Brett Collins, I think one day, more will come from him? You would think how close they were he would be leading the campaign, does anyone know if he ever accused Julie of making things up?
