How on earth do you know that Adam?

In the 'Crowdjustice' section.

"DC Barlow also told the court that the horizontal catch could not be deployed back on its pegs after he had climbed out of the window behind him.  This issue was skimmed over and the jury did not see any photographs of the horizontal catch at trial".

Are you on form or what today Maggie.
Haha!! I'm so busy at the moment justice that I mainly just pop in check the posts and go again, so often it's the same old stuff.

I've always believed he could have used the top window but somehow it has fallen into place more today.  I have never been and still am not convinced that JB entered the house via the window in the middle of the night, I feel there's a different explanation.  I also have never felt comfortable with the securing of the window from the outside, I don't find it convincing whereas him using the bedroom window for egress makes sense, it's so simple and the simple answer is usually the right one.  :)

I don't think they ruled any window out?  The Kitchen window was the favoured window
I agree justice, they didn't need to prove which window he used only that he could use a window and because it was well known he could enter through the window and some claimed he could exit and secure the kitchen window from outside that was good enough. The fact is they didn't need to spend time trying to prove which actual window he entered by because that wasn't the point of the trial.

I know that it couldn't be put back on it's peg because it usually requires a certain amount of pressure to secure such a lock.

For all that it doesn't prove anything except that D C Barlow found the 'catch could not be deployed back on it's pegs after he had climbed out of the window'....  it doesn't tell us that JB climbed out of the window.  It's a fact that no one knows which window JB did or didn't climb out of however much you are determined to win this particular point.

Just saying if Bamber exited out of an upstairs window, the horizontal lock on the kitchen window would be on it's pegs. Put there by June, Neville or Bamber.

Yes, If the kitchen window wasn't used it could have been secure. The horizontal lock wouldn't catch from the outside when it was tested by D C Barlow from the OUTSIDE.

Hi Adam,

You keep insisting that Nevill or June would have put the horizontal arm on it's pegs but you don't know that.  You are making an assumption and promoting it as fact, it proves nothing.  8)

CrowdJustice are claiming this issue was skimmed over at court. Although Barlow testified this was the case.

But thank you CrowdJustice for highlighting it.

Gloves don't leave finger prints, besides Bamber would have remembered he'd cleaned the windows upstairs and down using the ladders recently or convieniently
