jb was telling her some truths and some porkies.come on someone as cunning as jb would not tell anyone the full story the in's and out's.he knew as most crimanals do .that the least amount of people knowing the whole story decreases the chances of getting caught.

He told her enough porkies so that if she went to the police or told anyone else there were parts of her story that weren't correct. That's been my belief anyway. It wasn't just what he told her had occured on the night of the murders that was she knew though, it was also in his behviour and his negative opinion of his family in the weeks and months before the murders.

Why tell her anything if he thought there was a chance she would go to the police?

Probably because in the beginning it was all just talk, but as the idea developed, it became a plan. Once he'd bounced the idea off her, he couldn't take it back. He had 3 options; forget the whole thing and live with resentment, tell her everything he planned to do, feed her inaccuracies so if she did squeal, he story wouldn't be credible. Lets face it, many here think it isn't credible - so it worked on some.

It's easy to see how it may have begun. I feel certain that we've all been so wound up about a person/situation that we've confided in another about what we would like to see happen. If we said it often enough the fantasy could take hold and have a -possible- life of its' own.
