You said in one of your posts that you don't believe "she was drugged up at all" and you'd be correct in that assessment. The autopsy showed that, other than a trace element of cannabis, the only other drugs in her system were those prescribed so quite obviously, she wasn't "drugged up".

Thanks for trying to clarify my post Jane.
IMO she was NOT drugged but behaved that way because she was deeply depressed. I have seen people in that state, it's awful, they just sit and stare. Ruby Wax has written some enlightening descriptions of what it's like to be in that state.

I have great respect for the way Ruby Wax had explained her illness as the poor soul was devastatingly sick with depression which included various highs and lows as well as morbid despair. Suicide features constantly and if left untreated DOES go on to cause all the problems that Sheila had endured.

Depressives CAN and DO lash out at their loved ones. This is why " outsiders " can't believe that the likes of Sheila could have resorted to murder.
It's unusual for those with severe depression to show it other than to those who are nearer to them.
Untreated depression is dangerous !!

But by the time they've sunk so low into the trough of depression that they've started to neglect themselves -as had Sheila- they're incapable of raising the mental energy to commit murder.

There are no examples of a woman killing her children, mother, father and herself in one go.

This is similar to there being no examples of innocent people trying to frame another innocent person of killing people. Or a former girlfriend accusing an innocent man of killing people because she was apparently jilted. Or...

But give me a shout if there are examples.

Oh no,it's all part and parcel of their behaviour. Seemingly calm and deep in thought one minute, then the next a sudden spurt of anger and violence. These are very unpredictable signs which give a false impression.

That YOU have found no examples doesn't denote that there ARE no examples. Why do you assume that anyone is taking time out to find them on your behalf?

Lookout, I think you'll find that information collated by Samaritans, from whom I got my information, far and away exceeds your own experience.

Where it would take thought and common sense within the normal thinking brain, in those with a skewed train of thought their first line of defence is to land out without reason, because they can't reason when that part of the brain is sick.

Those deep in the 'trough', too devoid of energy to wash/clean their teeth/change their clothes, aren't possessed of the mental energy 'to land out without reason'.

Everyone failed Sheila. Even in this day and age people are still being failed. I think it's abysmal that with the so-called advancement in the detection of mental health among some people that so many teenagers are falling through the net and committing suicide. These are shocking statistics. The public are still ignorant of its existence in the young. Teachers should be trained to spot any signs,as the twins teacher did and promptly reported that they'd appeared neglected/tired/untidy.
If these things can be spotted at school where a child/youth spends most of its time, then it can be nipped in the bud before it goes on to worse things.
Sheila being expelled from school twice should have been a starter as to why then at least one problem could have been resolved,as a depressed child/teen will either bunk school or dislike going and that reason should have been rectified.
Her life remained unsettled from then onwards since puberty. If only there'd been some understanding and talking through her problems. :(

No arguments from me there, Lookout.
