Why didn't he ask for a key ? It was his property and he worked there. Or was supposed to.

Or AE or BW could have let him in.

Telephones did exsist in 1985. There was no hurry for Bamber. He had all the time in the world.

It is much more likely that Bamber used the hack saw on the bathroom window, prior to the massacre night.

This was to ensure an easy and quiet entrance on the night.

The judge suggested such.

Bamber's story on this is once again incredibly weak.

Well it is quite clear that he disliked the relatives, so asked them for nothing.

One thing everyone agrees on, is Bamber made the scratch marks on the bathroom window. With his hack saw.

Supporters will always say this was because a 24 year man apparently left his passport at mummies and daddies. Then apparently decided it would be easier to get a hack saw and climb through a window to get it. Rather than walk through a front door.

The prosecution have a very very strong counter argument. Which the judge asked the jury to consider.

It was his passport Susan.

No, it was documents for the car, he intended to take the car abroad.

There was no reason to look for scratch marks -or ANY other evidence- whilst they were convinced of Sheila's guilt. Presumably, once that was in doubt, their previous thinking had to be re-evaluated.
spot on jane.

I presume any documents he had were with him when he was arrested. I haven't heard any mention of finding the documents at WHF. To be honest, I'm not sure if he took the car with him or not. Personally, I think it was a ruse - he knew the police knew he could get into WHF via a window because they had questioned him about it. I think he went back there to try and show that yes, he could get in, but not that he could get out again - hence the note to BW asking her to secure the window.

Mike says he was under surveillance because of possible opium growing.

I doubt he ever went back to WHF and got through the bathroom window after the massacre. It's just Bamber saying this because he had no choice.

The scratch marks would lead dirrectly to him if he denied all knowledge. So he might as well justify them.
