This thread is not including the lab technicians in the frame. Which would be expanding the frame too far.

The relatives acting independently:

There is already a thread stating it was impossible for the  relatives to expertly frame Bamber using the silencer. Thread below.

It was also very risky and a serious crime with a severe penalty if rumbled.

It is perfectly reasonable that they found the silencer which fitted the rifle inside WHF. That is where it should have been. It is also perfectly reasonable that the silencer would have the stated evidence on if it had been used during the massacre by Bamber.

The police acting indepently:

It was impossible for the police to expertly frame Bamber using the silencer. For the same reasons as it was for the relatives.

It was also very risky, illegal and had severe penalties if found out.

There are accusations that a second silencer was handed to the lab team. This would have been because the results relating to the blood and paint on the first silencer surprisingly did not incriminate Bamber. It was impossible for the police to successfully contaminate a second silencer and impossible that the lab would not notice two silencers.

The relatives and police working together to create a frame:

This would just make things a lot harder for both parties. There are no advantages in widening the frame.

If the police wanted to fabricate evidence to frame Bamber, they could just do another search of WHF. There was no reason to include the relatives in a frame.

The relatives would have to have handed in a silencer with nothing on. Then requested the police fabricate evidence on it. This is a serious crime which the police will refuse to do. It was also something the police would not know how to do.

                                  --------------------

In conclusion,  it was impossible for the police and relatives to expertly fabricate Sheila's/human blood and the aga paint marks onto one silencer.  Either working indepently or together.

It is also extremely unlikely either party would have the courage or vision to attempt such a serious and illegal act.

The relatives have always said they found the silencer and handed it in. The police have always said they received the silencer from the relatives and sent it for testing. This is what happened.  There is no proof otherwise.

The month long silencer investigation has been very revealing and produced many breakthroughs. Supporters have not really disputed these while guilters have praised the threads.

It is interesting how one piece of evidence can prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt. Many cases rely on just one piece of forensic evidence. In the Bamber case there was the rare luxury of a library full of evidence. The relatives were right when they said there was enough evidence without the silencer.

However the silencer is a big piece of evidence and the most famous piece. Supporters until recently optimistically claiming it was the only piece. Hence the creation of the library. The silencer was worth me investigating further.

When I create the silencer  evidence summary shortly hopefully that will be the end of the guilty/innocent debate.
