No,that's right------------they'd have been damp and not aired after 5 years.

Someone had to change the bedding, Lookout. The police wouldn't have done. My neighbour had to clean her sister's garage after her brother in law slit his wrists.

The fact that Ann Eaton didn't clean up the bloodied lamp and blood stains in the master bedroom makes me think she didn't have anything to do with any conspiracy which it's alleged some of the relatives undertook.

But leaving a made-up bed for 5 years ? Why not have disposed of the whole lot ? I don't get it.
Cleaning up after an accident is quite different.

I don't believe she did leave those bloodied beds for 5 years, Lookout and I'm sure you don't need me to draw a picture of how they'd have been after all that time if she had. It's simply that she and her family didn't move there for 5 years.

As Steve has just pointed out, nobody bothered about the cleaning of blood from the lampshade ( or the dumping of it ) and because AE was dab-hand at ripping wallpaper, why leave that in its bloodied state ?

You prioritise your way, Ann did it her way. You seem uber critical of anyone who doesn't do it -whatever IT is- your way.

It just seems a strange way of doing. I don't think I'd like to be reminded seeing blood on the lampshade and wallpaper.  There again,AE rinsed out knickers from a blood-filled bucket.? What was that all about ?

To my mind,AE obviously DIDN'T think Jeremy was guilty or all that lot would have been left-----don't you worry. It was the contents of the will that changed everyone's mind !! Not the fact that they thought he was guilty.

Left for what? The police had already seen the buckets!

Nor do I believe, would I, Lookout, but I hasten to remind you that this isn't about US. I would put changing bloodied sheets and rinsing bloodied knickers in the same bracket as, apparently, did Ann, leaving wallpaper and lamp for later, according to how badly stained they were.

Just saying that I wouldn't have wanted  being reminded of what had happened. Depends how hard you are I suppose. It takes me back to my hospital days when I helped a senior nurse make the bed of a nine year old who'd died of yellow jaundice. It upset me badly and I'd rather not have been in that side ward at all. It was mainly the death of children which affected me and I knew I could never get used to that, whereas when it came to adults I'd accepted it,in a way,but still a sad time of life.
Maybe when one doesn't/hadn't seen them on a regular basis,it was different ??

It seems to me, lookout, that Ann MAY have been bought up in a way you'd fully condone, ie she'd been taught obedience and she did what she considered was her duty and put it above her personal feelings.
