I think they were all busy leading parallel lives, but didn't Ann Eaton overhear Jeremy at one of the board meetings asking her aunt for more money? According to Roger Wilkes June was moping, scribing religious notes which she would leave around the house. I wonder if she herself was heading for another breakdown?

Steve, only that it may have been the time when he made a point of saying how much of her income Pam gave Ann, compared to how much June gave him. I'm wondering how he could have known, but he may have asked Ann or she may have volunteered the information.

He corroborated to the police what he alleged his father said about Sheila during his alleged phone call. He gave them a fairly comprehensive history of her mental state and hospital admissions, even hinting that she was going into hospital again. It hardly sounds as if he didn't know how ill she was.

He was repeating what he'd heard others having said. He certainly WASN'T interested in anyone else at the time and doubtless had a clue what was going on within the household at WHF,because even his mother was ill at the time, which he probably only found out after her death.

The thoughts of 24 year olds are a Hell of a lot different to those in middle age. They live for the day with girlfriends, fast cars and clubbing. It's called self-centred,selfish and they're not interested in what goes on around them, particularly concerning family, and what they speak of is only what they've heard from others.
He wasn't even living at WHF at the time,so how could he have been involved with what was going on ?

June had been visiting her GP right up until the tragedy. I wonder what her prescription/s consisted of ?
So far as Jeremy was aware of that, his statement noted that she'd been unwell for a while, not sure whether he'd said weeks or even months,so I suppose it would have been the norm in the household and this is why very little was made of it.
