The faulty lead deposit tests fundamentally flawed...
« on: February 15, 2016, 08:47:AM »
The shooter only had to reload 15 rounds at most in 'a one gun crime' scenario, but the volunteers who took part in the 'lead comparison tests' handled significantly more. Worse still, the volunteers did not even handle the same batch of bullets (DRH/42) from where 20 of the 25 shots which were fired were supposed to have belonged to. Residue can vary from box to box of ammunition - so, Bamber was even stitched up with the results of the 'lead deposit comparison tests'...

Different batches of .22 ammunition are not coated in the exact same levels of grease as every other piece of .22 ammunition. Some, for example may appear dry whilst other rounds in a separate box can be densely coated in the same. Another important feature 'ignored', was the lead deposit levels found by a volunteer 'handling' the rounds from the same batch (box) as those rounds used in the shootings, for example, the remaining 29 rounds, used at one time or another, in 'unofficial', and 'official' test firing of the aforementioned 29 rounds...
