« on: July 17, 2017, 01:19:PM »
Have mved the above thread to Hidden Threads.

I have decided to move the above thread as it was causing understandable complaints by various posters for different reasons.
I agree that such pictures are not acceptable on the forum.   Cheers

Anyone who thinks posting a video of an actuarial death is acceptable, needs to have a word with themselves!

Anyone who does not see the ulterior motives behind those complaints to remove the video need to have several more words with themselves.

Hi David I removed the video because I decided it was a step too far, NOT simply because some posters complained. Obviously, there were various reasons posters complained but I can work out the reasons behind complaints.  My decision was based in the fact that it seemed to be an actual death.  I understand why you posted it and it was interesting to see how the rifle fell but a link may have been/would be more acceptable imo.

There is a BIG difference between photographs of an already deceased person and seeing someone ending their lives. If you can't see that, there is something VERY wrong!

No but we don't encourage the crime scene photos to be posted up.  About 3 years ago it was decided to keep such pics to a minimum.

It was an actual death and it's sick! The idiot is talking about 'ulterior motives' when he basically posted a snuff video clip! I have have no qualms in saying I complained about it because it was sick but not surprising that he can't see that. No ulterior motives - just common decency!

Hi Caroline, Which is why I removed it,  I was not saying there were ulterior motives by people who thought it was sick I was thinking of other objections.
I didn't need to be told by anyone I needed to take it down, as soon as I logged on and saw it I took it down.
