Not at all. In a young woman ?
If she'd been expecting the call she'd have been wide awake !

In a word, 'yes'.

I've never been woken by a friend or relative at 3am. The consensus is Bamber's call is a major body blow for him. Which is why he told the police 'no comment' when asked and has refused to discuss it since.

So Bamber telephoned Julie after the police, because he was tired.

Why waste more energy if you are tired ? There are more important things to do. Sheila's 'gone crazy and she's got the gun'.

I have been woken quite a few times in the night for various reasons, however tired you maybe you soon become alert.  I cannot believe that Julie was so tired JBs words didn't register.....  we are talking about murder!!
If Jeremy's guilty, I am convinced she knew all about it and knew exactly what he was talking about.

Didn't someone else answer the phone ? Thought Julie would if she was expecting a call.

If I am woken at 3am from a deep sleep. It would take me two or three minutes to get my head together. Then I would say 'go back to bed'. If not fully awake I would again say 'go back to bed'.

Julie said herself that after she went back to bed she thought Bamber may have actually done something.

rubbish adam, no one being woken at 3am would just say go back to bed. No one calls anyone at 3am if its not urgent and anyone getting a call, well there heart would be in there throat thinking oh god whats happened. She is lying as far as im concerned.

Sadly only Julie has said what Bamber said to her. And what she said back.

Bamber just said 'no comment'. Until the trial of course when he had to say something. Saying he 'wanted to hear a friendly voice'. At 3am.

Anyway there is a recent thread on this.

I agree his behaviour after getting Neville's call was 'strange'.

It wasn't her family and she was too far away to do anything. People use Julie (in this instance) to take the heat away from Jeremy because his actions are inexcusable - or would IF his father had really called!
