Sheila's body was staged by police prior to PC Bird starting to take photographs of her body on the bedroom floor, to give the impression that she had taken her own life, proven by the sequence with which the following photographs had been taken by PC David Bird, and by reference to the court testimony of PC Bird, and DI 'Ron' Cook:-
Cook testified that he moved Sheila's hand, so that PC Bird could photograph the bloodied marks on the nightdress, and that he removed the rifle and placed it against the bedroom window as per the photograph, posted. Photographs of the rifle on Sheila's body therefore were taken before the photograph taken which shows the rifle leaning against the bedroom window (I will come back to this issue later), but the overriding fact is that this set of photographs depict the moment the rifle was on the body, was moved from the body to the bedroom window, and that is confirmed in the testimony of Ron Cook / PC Bird, and these photographs...
Now, this is significant evidence, since it denotes the moment that the rifle was supposedly removed from Sheila's body for the first and only time, untouched, unstaged, yet - we also have claims that a member of the raid team removed the rifle to make it safe at the time her body was allegedly first discovered. How can this be true, if Ron Cook was the first person to remove the rifle from the body? Ron Cook did not get control of the crime scene until 10am, and PI Montgomery claims to have been the person who first removed the rifle from on top of Sheila's body, but he did not enter the farmhouse until about 8.15am? Then, to put the icing on the cake, we have PS Woodcock claiming he removed the rifle from Sheila's body at 11.10am, that same morning, now how can that be if by 10.14am, Ron Cook had already removed the rifle from Sheila's body and placed the said rifle against the main bedroom window...
