DI Wilkinson, walked and rode a bycicle (at different times) between 9 Head Street, and WHF, to determine how much time it would take doing both exercises. The upshot of these tests was that it took him 1 hour and 03 minutes to ride a bycicle between both locations, and it took him, 2 hours and 25 minutes to walk the same route. This is very interesting because if Jeremy Bamber was the killer, and he used either of the two means by which to leave the scene and get back to his cottage, it has a direct bearing upon the general time of death for the five victims. In order to work out the time the shootings were concluded we need a starting point. In this regard we can find no better example than the timing of Malcolm Bonnets phone log, timed at 03.26hrs (it is irrelevant for the purpose of this particular thread, who made the call). According to Wilkinson, it would have taken Jeremy 1 hour and 03 minutes to cycle away from the scene after the last of the five victims had been killed. This implies that if Jeremy had been the killer, he would have had to have killed the last victim by 02.23hrs (using the call log timed at 03.26hrs as the bench mark). Alternatively, if Jeremy had walke the same route, it would have taken him 2 hours and 25 minutes to walk the same route, thus he would have had to shoot the last of the five victims and leave the premises, by 01.01hrs...

In this model, two general times of death, if cycled 02.23hrs, if walked 01.01hrs...

                                            ----------------------------------------------

We can use this information to calculate how long the last of the 5 victims had been shot dead, by comparing the delay in time between one or other of the aforementioned times (02.23hrs; 01.01hrs), and other timed events where police had an opportunity to either enter the farmhouse and find bodies of victims, or once entry into the farmhouse was made, when bodies of victims were found, and photographed, or bodies moved, whilst insitu...

I wonder if June's death and Sheila's death could have been judged as simultaneous ?

I feel certain that courtesy of a link someone put up last night, I read that a person had timed a cycle ride as being around 12 minutes. Even using the main road, it's less than 4 miles.

Are you accusing DI Wilkinson, of being a liar?

And the rifle was first made safe minutes after firearms officers first entered the master bedroom, basic procedure I'm afraid.

Can't imagine why you think I would be. There are numerous route's from Goldhanger to D'arcy and I don't recall seeing any speeds, weather conditions, heights, ages or weights mentioned.

According to calculations made by DI Wilkinson, by the time PC David Bird got around to taking the first photographs of Sheila Caffell on the bedroom floor (10.14hrs), Sheila had already been dead by as few as 08 hours and 01 minute, or as long as 09 hours and 13 minutes, and yet, DI 'Ron' Cook was easily able to move around Sheila Caffells right arm, and remove the gun from her body (without wearing gloves), without 'RIGOR MORTIS' having developed:-

And if what you say is true, then of course the first photographs taken of Sheila Caffell on the bedroom floor cannot have been in the exact same position that her body and the gun was originally found in, and so the photographs presented to the jury, on the basis that they represented Sheila's body untouched and unmoved, had in fact, been stage managed beforehand, a fact not given to the jury...

A very serious matter, if true...

On a bicycle it only takes 11-15 minutes to get to White House Farm from 9 Head Street in Goldhanger.

Farmhouse just a few hundred metres east of red pointer.
