Its amazing the different descriptions of how Sheila was just before the murders

Some saying fit and well - others saying hardly able to hold a conversation or co-ordinate her movements . Some say tired - others saying she was happy - others saying disinterested in everything . No wonder its easy to chose statements to fit each scenario

Jan, in reality, can you think of any valid reason -given what was going on for her in her last few weeks- why she should have been fit and well?

I think she thought there was still a chance whilst they both had the twins in common. Didn't Colin also remark post-murders that there might have been a chance of a reconciliation?

Sorry reply to janes post

No - but I have read so many different versions from "witnesses" it is difficult to establish how she actually was. Colin said she enjoyed helping to prepare for the party.  other people says she practically could not do anything. Perhaps she was just very up and down - like bi-polar?

Thankyou.-------which would have meant Sheila enduring and anticipating the prospect of spending the rest of her time at WHF until their return. I see.

Why would Colin not have taken her back to London? Sheila took the boys to the farm because their grandparents wanted to see them before they went on their hols. I can see no reason for Sheila staying on. I've certainly never seen it mooted.

Steve, I believe I recall him hinting that -but very ambiguously- during a television interview.

The nature of the condition and the affects of the medication are such that a person can be fully engaged one minute and away with the show folk the next. That's why different people have different experiences. Even the same people gave different accounts.

Colin reminisces on what might have been, instead of flicking through a photo album, one of the few relics left of past times. http://www.itnsource.com/en/shotlist/ITN/1986/10/28/AS281086004/?s=Colin%20Caffell

I have tried to be fair when commenting, but I have only found two instances of any positive behaviour from her in the fortnight leading up to her death, but I CAN'T ignore all that was going on for her. I'm certain it could only have had a negative effect.

Thank-you Steve. I'm amazed at how like Jeremy he looked in that clip.

I don't think that June or Neville would have relished the idea of Sheila going home alone while the rest were away. This might have even cropped up during suppertime. Sheila would probably have preferred clubbing/partying.

Strange in this clip Dr. Ferguson told the court he did not believe Sheila would harm her children or Nevill. I wonder where Carol Ann Lee gets her source. https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2507&dat=19861021&id=F4JDAAAAIBAJ&sjid=q6UMAAAAIBAJ&pg=3492,4974289&hl=en

It wasn't up to them, Lookout. She wasn't a child, she was 26/7. Besides which, her next injection was due.

I think she interviewed him whilst she was researching the book, Steve.

Lots of letters exchanged hands over a number of years between CAL and Jeremy,so it must have been Jeremy who'd provided most of the info, though I'd say he may have been guarded about how much info. he parted with.

I had always wondered if there were any witnesses called for jeremy.

stunned , deeply shocked, unable to speak.

got on well with his family

was well liked etc etc.

we do seem to concentrate on all the negatives about jb but there were also positives.

i cannot understand why he said it was for them to establish his guilt , what a prat, that was his big downfall imo
