The CCRC produced a 100 or 120 page report on the decision to refuse Jeremy to the court of appeal.
I cant find this anywhere. Only the 2002 appeal can be found online, however the 2012 report I am talking about is not made public like the appeal court decisions are this is just a CCRC document.
Did Simon Mckays firm ever release the documents to the public domain?
There are actually 2 CCRC decisions, one was preliminary, the defense had a chance to respond then another was produced which was final. At first Jeremy's supporters said they would release the reports when the legal process was complete (the appeals to the courts completed). But they decided not to do so after the COA ruled against them and upheld the CCRC rejection.
You can take it 3 ways:
1) The campaign team didn't want the public to see the rejection so the public can continue believing claims that were bogus (such rejected claims are still advanced by the campaign team)
2) Jeremy decided he didn't want it released so the public doesn't see the problems with their claims and still might support him because of such claims
3) The legal team didn't want to be bothered scanning the documents that highlighted deficiencies in their claims and it certainly is not their job to publish such. They would only do so if instructed to do so not on their own.
Obviously if it had been favorable then they would have taken the time to release it. It is unclear who posted the online message on the Bamber site who had promised to release it when all was said and done. I am hardly surprised they didn't follow through with the promise.
