unfortunately there are a lot of damaged children. I cant believe some of the terribly sad stories we hear. But not all go on to commit murder. And in your post that could just of easily applied to Sheila.

As I said there are unanswered questions on both sides .

Sheila 's coping mechanism was to have tantrums, ergo, she expressed her pain and anger. Jeremy's were probably suppressed.

His interview was in 1991 and was recorded and this is the transcript:

http://jeremybamberforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,590.msg12022.html#msg12022

He stated he had no idea a moderator was collected in this case until many months later.  Thus when he overheard Cook talking with the lab about pain be assumed the paint was on a rifle he didn't realize it was on a moderator.  He said no such thing, you have made that up...This means it is impossible for him to have fingerprinted any moderator in connection with this case ever let alone do so on August 9.  He said he never saw the moderator to that day. Well, he lied then, its as simple as that because he fingerprinted one silencer on the 9th August 1985, and he fingerprinted a second silencer with DS Eastwood on the 14th September 1985, so it just goes to show what a deviant he was... How could he have fingerprinted a moderator he didn't know about or fingerprint one he never saw? So, the police documentation confirming he did carry out such fingerprinting duties on these 2 silencers has been fabricated by the police themselves, have they? For what purpose would they do that if it wasn't true?

Since we now have a situation,  whereby Malcom Bonnet more or less received the exchange line call (3.26am) from PC West, before PC West had had a chance to listen to what Jeremy had to say, and question him, (from 3.26am), and then make an exchange line call to Malcolm Bonnet, both West and Bonnets phone logs could not possibly have commenced at the same time (3.26am) - therefore, the contents of Bonnets phone log must be the information receiced from Ralph Bamber, before PC West contacted Bonnet to inform him about the sons call to PC West, about a call from his father...

Sad as these statements are, what I did note was confirmation of what was said about Sheila having been " an unfit mother " as told by Colin to an ex girlfriend which had originally come from June.
I was slated on here for " making things up ". Thank God these things come to light if only for my own sanity knowing that I HAD seen such a remark.

It doesn't say she was 'an unfit mother' it says she was unfit due to her illness. The implications of 'unfit mother' is something quite different to having an illness.

I'd take it as one and the same thing. Ignoring your children when all other parents are interacting with theirs, not looking after them properly, leaving them to dress and get their own breakfasts for school. ?

Sheila was a mother anyway and to be told she was unfit was addressing her,the mother. That was soul-destroying for a start besides everything else that troubled Sheila.

the term 'unfit mother' is said as an insult. However, it was said in respect to her illness, not as a way of saying 'she couldn't be arsed'. There is a distinct difference.

She bothered about the way SHE herself looked though ! Which a lot of people who've got mental health issues don't bother about, from what I've seen and know about.

Depression is like a trough and a patient doesn't need to be at the bottom of it to be suffering it. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Sheila was depressed but as she was capable of caring about her appearance AND had been witnessed skipping with the boys earlier that day, I'd be disinclined to say it was a deep depression.

Sometimes Sheila did let herself go. In CAL's book we are told by one of her Maida Vale set that on one occasion she had greasy hair and B.O. Sheila had mood swings which did have repercussions as far as the twins were concerned, but fortunately Colin filled the breech after her second incarceration in hospital in March 1985.

One thing for sure,Sheila cared very much about her appearance when she'd been found by EP. Her whole appearance was perfect.Nails manicured to perfection ( had she visited a salon or did she do them herself ? ) Sheila was clean and her hair wasn't greasy ( showered ? ) Also, had I read that she'd borrowed the nightdress from her mother ?
I'd have said that she'd been prepared for what was to come. Unless you know beforehand of your fate, you're not exactly prepared.
