Like what? DB initially called Colin by mistake, he meant to call AP. When he realised rather than hang up (which would be rude) he told Colin to prepare for a bombshell. They weren't great friends so, he didn't go into detail.

Well, whether he did or didn't, the reason for the call was to warn of Jeremy's arrest. Colin was an interested party, he lost his two sons. Hearing about the arrest from the newspapers and not the family would have been complete ignorance on the families part.

Yes Nugs, HE could and it is HE we are speaking of. YOU may have done it differently but this isn't about what YOU would have done. HE did it his way 30 years ago. It's rather pointless to debate now about other possible ways he COULD have done it because it changes nothing.

Nugs, you appear to be unnecessarily wound up about this. So the guy made a mistake. He's allowed. It was a very stressful time. If you always get it right you're the only one who does. If you'd have got everything right under the circumstances he was in you'd probably have been able to walk on water, too.

You spend your time trying to deflect from the issues.  The fact is that Boutflour called and told Colin to pay attention to the press because Jeremy was going to be arrested. It makes no difference whether Boutflour intended to call Colin and did so by accident or did so intentionally.   You tried to spin this as Colin being called about the Sun article but that is not the case you were wrong and had no basis for such a claim.  You are now dancing around for nothing.  You devote a great deal of nonsense to trying to defend Jeremy and fail to accomplish your mission you simply look like an inept apologist in the process.
