Its the Sun Mat! Do I need to explain further or have you never read the Sun newspaper?

Sorry I am being a pain, but come on its the Sun Mat.....known as the gutter press for a reason.

Newspapers are not factual they extort the truth to the point where it is so sensationalist it had the readers gripped in ore....OK, if they printed the basic truth and it was factual, no reader would be interested in reading it, for they would find it boring....Exaggerate the truth and sensationalize it and readers will read it and take every word of it to be fact, yet its not........but the readers believe it.   :-\

Not sure what the attitude is about, love. I was only asking you why you thought he didn't LIE in this situation but instead EXAGGERATED.

I wondered if there was a reason behind your opinion is all.

It doesn't matter if he exaggerated by mentioning sex aids (although we don't know that he did exaggerate). The point is that a few weeks after her death, Jeremy is trying to peddle explicit pictures of her. What kind of a person does that?

A bad one! I have no reason to doubt that photo's were of offer.....What I doubt is the sex aids being introduced to sensationalize a story and grip the nation to the point where they become biased towards Jeremy Bamber... "Oh he tried to sell pornographic pictures of his dead sister, he must be guilty"  :-\ ;D

I would imagine that it would have given pause for thought to the most ardent Jeremy supporter. It doesn't show a loving, grieving brother but a cold and calculating individual with £ signs in place of a heart. Leaps towards believing him guilty would hardly be surprising.

Fielder lies Patti, not just bend the truth. There was no truth whatsoever in his claims re Carmen Proetta(ex prostitute, ran an escort agency, married to a drug peddler). It is reasonable to assume that he took as much care with the truth in this case.

That is the Sun for you Gringo.....The Sun targets a class of people, I know this is not a very nice thing to say, but it does and those that read its BS believe it, and would never buy The Times.  This is why they are banned from reporting before a trial....

We are human, we love to read the explicit.... ;)

I agree with that, Apes. It does show a greed for money - so that is bound to create a leap towards guilt as the motive for the murders was financial gain.

She had just wiped out his entire family so in the immediate aftermath he may not have been feeling especially benevolent towards her.
That's if you believe the selling pics story of course, which I don't. If The Sun said The Pope was a catholic I would doubt it

Pictures are posted in the press all the time April.  Where did the press get those from? Were they free or were they sold....Bamber is made to be different because Fielder says so....None of us know the truth behind the photo's....Photo's which no has ever seen????????? Nor have we read the Sun article???

I agree its not cricket to sell photo's of your dead sister, its beyond the pail.  But, we have a press that is greedy for stories and they will pay anything to get their hands on photo's in order to sell their papers.  Jeremy Bamber will not be the first to try and sell photo's and he wont be the last....

The meeting was not arranged by Bamber, it was Collins that phoned the press. How much influence had Collins got over Jeremy or did Jeremy force Collins to phone up and arrange the meeting?  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

To be honest, you couldn't sensationalise that story any more than the reality of it. I think he's guilty anyway but this shows what kind of character he had/has. You can't get much lower than that cept for maybe shooting dead your whole family, blaming it on your schizophrenic sister then try to sell private, explicit pictures of her!!  :o :o :o :o

I bet he was the first to try and sell pictures of his recently dead sister and I think he's pretty much been the last. I don't think Colins had any influence over Jeremy, he doesn't strike me as someone who is easily manipulated.

No I don't agree with that at all!  :o
It's not a case of going to the papers with photos, it's going to the papers with dirty photos of your dead sister. There has to be something seriously wrong with you to do that.

Well it depends on how explicit they were, and no one has ever seen them, so their might be a slight element of truth, yet it lacks proof at the end on the day that sex aids where mentioned. All we are relying on is a newspapers reporter.  I suppose its up to each of us to identify who we believe and what we believe....I believe there were no sex aids...I do believe that photos were on offer....but not to the extreme that Fielder describes.  I do take into consideration that though, that no one has seen these photos.....and all that exists is a vague description...and it proves nothing... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Why not?

Photos and stories are sold to the gutter press all the time....I cannot understand why you dispute this? Just asking love.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Naughty photos by the brother? I think not. But I can understand why you're trying to play it down.

He told Colin AND Fielder "You can see everything right down to the last detail" so they were explicit enough and Colin has never disputed the claim of sex aids so Jeremy may also have mentioned that to Colin, we don't know that he didn't. We're not just relying on the newspaper at all, we're relying on Colin - I don't think the 'sex aids' is the issue, Jeremy trying to sell them is.
