I didn't read his post I was eating my dinner.Still haven't read it,just saw the letters and tried to fathom them out, though I'm sorry I bothered as I only get ridiculed anyway.

Lookout, AGES ago Mike presented us with this information and some of us spent several days trying to decipher/decode the letters.

I still think the only -POSSIBLY!!!- authentic bit is the first part that Mike posted. Very clear given that it was difficult to read!!. It has NOTHING to do with Sheila writing to Christine because Sheila hadn't known her "all your life". IF it's authentic, I'm as convinced as I CAN be that it was June's musings about her mother's increasing frailty and the distress which sometimes accompanies it. To say Sheila wrote it when we have no previous examples of her handwriting is an assumption sweeping beyond belief.

This wasn't the same note with the letters and 3's on it as a couple of weeks ago. That other drivel came from a clairvoyant, something which Colin was into.

Now WHY do you describe what Colin was into as "drivel" yet give importance to Sheila's(?) ramblings?

Sheila was also into clairvoyancy,as was JM. I don't happen to believe in it so that's why I called it drivel.

Why are you so willing to accept that Sheila wrote any of what has been alleged she did? Remember the Monastery debacle?

But I am NOT willing to accept that Sheila wrote anything, even what was scrawled inside the wardrobe. If you look at my first post on this thread,I stated that I DIDN'T believe it,but I noticed you'd written something to the effect that it was probably June writing about her own mother ? How do you know ? Do you know June's writing ? Did it say it was written by June ?

Yes, Lookout, I DID see that you said you didn't believe it..................thought you'd changed your mind ;) :) You're correct in that I don't know June's writing -however, I did include the rider "IF it is authentic........................" I stand by, IF it is authentic, the words I commented on ARE NOT SHEILA'S. Far too much "fudging" would need to be done to make them so. Those particular words are relatively lucid and make sense. The rest appears to be cobbled together by a different person. I would not have thought it unusual to find June's spiritual musings in any of the bibles in the house.

It has been said that June used to leave scraps of paper around the farmhouse that had biblical connotations,or verses/psalms on them, and maybe she used to write little " hints " with inclusions of morality for Sheila.  June would never have survived this present century.
Unless I saw the notes in their entirety as a proper exhibit, then I don't believe anything.

Given the few times June and Sheila were in each other's company there must have been a library of them. I think it more likely that they were in preparation for bible study evenings. The notes in their entirety -how ever many they be(?)- are more likely to tell us who didn't write them than who did.

No, I no it's not. Mike started off talking about another note, that is the same note that was posted here last year when Jan and a few others were trying to decipher what it said. Scip posted the numbers and letters note.
