LOL......yuk!

I think it will be a Labour hold in Sheffield.

Ukip has gained 16 percent of the votes in Sunderland and the Greens up by 3 percent.  8)

Yes UKIP seem to be doing well. Early days but there seems to be a pattern forming.

LD's seem to have had it.

It will be interesting to see what happens in Colchester, it will be LD (who have had it forever) or Cons who have a good chance. Further East it seems UKIP have a lot of support In Tendring.

Have you always gone green? Just curious.

Never been interested in politics although I worked for the government for 10 years.  I also worked for Sheffield city council for 11 years.  I work for myself now but one of the government departments is one of my partners.

Due to leader debates on television, plus my son's interest I have watched the debates with him, so got hooked.

I looked at all the manifestos and the Labour party had more to offer, so voted for them in the general election.

Natalie Bennett gave her all in the debates, wanting to increase social housing.  Natalie is from Australia and she whipped Forage;s ass.....I like her so I voted Green for the fist time.  She also wants free tuition.  She said if you want change vote Green.  I do and I did... ;D

Fair enough, that's as good a reason as any.  :)

That's brilliant Gringo...I hope she wins.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

No we have seen enough of Cameron although I do like him...Its time for change eh?

Its a bit different this time round because if Cameron does not get the votes he can still be in number 10.  :-\
Thanks Patti, she unfortunately has no chance of winning tonight but she is only 18 and it is heartwarming to see her getting involved. She has got mine and Mum's vote as well as one of the older sisters who lives in the same ward at least :) :)

I feel sorry for Nick Clegg, he has worked tirelessly over the past 5 years and I feel he has not received credit for it.

Still early, but I agree it certainly looks that way....

It means that they polled less than 5% of the vote, Patti. A deposit of £500 is paid by each candidate to stand in an election which is returned if polling 5% or more.
I am staying up but don't know for how long :)
