Scipio  sorry for my ignorance does this means 11 shots can be fired without reloading.

If there is one in the chamber and 10 in the magazine then yes it means 11 shots can be fired in a row.

The danger of leaving one in the chamber is you could forget, remove the magazine, think the weapon is empty and end up shooting yourself or someone else by accident.

Adam other posters have not agreed your scenario but I ;D

Supporters have to disagree. But did not say why.

Neville Bamber was not the sort of man who would  ring any farmworkers to involve them in personal family business
The family kept Sheila's illness to themselves, he would have been loathed to involve anyone from the outside, especially on the spur of the moment
I also think that when people say Sheila could not have overpowered a grown man, you need to take into account this was her father who was by all accounts a gentle man, would he attack his daughter even in self defence? Whereas if it was Jeremy he would be more likely to try and knock him out
I'm not saying all these point to JB's innocence, I'm just saying that everything isn't as cut and dried as you may think.

The Foakes's got on well with all the Bambers. Otherwise they wouldn't have worked for them for so long. They were also 100 yards away.

Jeremy was 3 miles away and didn't get on with anyone inside WHF.

Barbara Wilson said Neville could restrain Sheila with one arm. He was a former army officer, head of the family and business. He wouldn't stand for any nonsense from Sheila.

You are right, Jeremy would be more likely to knock Neville out.

They may have got on well with the Bambers but they were still employees and would never have been called IMHO
I see how clever you were with the knocking out part, you must have been ever so pleased with yourself.  :)
