Ann Eaton´s Notes.
« on: April 06, 2015, 07:48:PM »
How likely do you find it that Ann Eaton actually made notes of what Jeremy said and his conduct on the very morning after the murders?
Is it perhaps more likely that she made the notes at a later time, but claimed they were made on the very day?
I have never been able to wrap my mind around this.
A very traumatic day, for her too, how then could she act so rationally and take notes? Jeremy´s cottage was very small - how come no one saw her taking notes?

Also the practicality around it seems odd. Did she bring pen and paper from home? Did she use paper and pen from Jeremy´s place?

I have always found this highly odd and have a hard time believing it.

She also did not grieve - but criticised JB for the same thing.

I am not convinced because of the notes not mentioning the finding of the silencer - which would have been the most important event to record.

I wonder where she found the fingernail ? The one which broke off when Sheila gouged into the flesh of her parents. ?

She didn't appreciate the moderator evidence was significant.  Why would she write it in her notes when she didn't know it amounted to anything?

Police didn't know it would amount to much either, Cook thought the only value was in fingerprints.  Only the lab appreciated the significance in terms of drawback.  Even today drawback is not commonly known about.  I doubt most people who post here would even have heard of drawback but for this case. I was only aware of it because of a previous case I dealt with that involved drawback and the issue was used to prove that a wound was a contact wound, it didn't involve a moderator.   I have watched about every forensic show Court TV produced before changing names and not one of them ever dealt with drawback nor have I seen it discussed on any of the fictional CSI type shows created purely for entertainment.  It is obscure.

I don't suppose for one minute that the nail was examined.

Sheila was not missing any fingernails.  You are dreaming about something else.

Did she not make note regarding the silencer? How odd is that?

I think anything that is written down hours/days after can be scrutinized as not being 100% correct.

A word missed or added can change a sentence any sentence maybe?  :o ;) ;) ;)

That's where you're mistaken because AE found a fingernail, either false or real and I would like to know where she found it.

Of course she knew it was significant, they sat at a table to examine it, it had a blob of blood/jam on the knurl end also red paint that matched the AGA and a hair from a rabbit...lol

They rang the police to ask them to pick it up so they must have thought it was significant, but you are way to biased you cannot demonstrate correctly that the whole family did know of its importance.  Hahahaha  ;D

At the PM, there was explanation on the injury of June's arm being consistent with a single fingernail making the indentation.

It had blood on the outside which she saw . the only reason she said they waited was because the police station was not open that's why they took it away. so when  did they realise it was important enough to hand over on its own to the police at what point did it go from being significant to insignificant?  When did the police first question Jeremy about the silencer being on the gun -  and was Anne present at the time?

Ann wrote her notes when she said she wrote them, unless there is proof/evidence existing that shows otherwise - anything else is just speculation.

Are you talking a different case again??   :o
