When was it stated that the SMO was a "10 day" operation? It is an "as long as it takes" operation and it is even clearer now, more than ever, that Russia will defeat the NATO proxy in Ukraine. Your belief in the (transparent to a 5 year old) NATO propaganda is belied by the facts on the ground and doesn't alter those facts. The "as long as it takes" SMO has weakened and exposed NATO as a paper tiger and the end result, as stated by Putin from the beginning, will be a demilitarised and de-nazified(euphemism for de-NATOfied) Ukraine. No NATO missiles/bases will be allowed to be based there and whatever rump is left of Ukraine(if any) will be de-militarised. There is nothing that NATO can do to stop this inevitable outcome. Even NATO entering officially couldn't alter this destiny.
What would you think changes if NATO "officially enter" the war anyway? NATO have been humiliated in Ukraine. All of their arms, money, training, use of NATO ISR(intel, surveillance, recon) assets such as Global Hawk drones relaying real time info on Russian troop movements and targeting etc. What more, other than the boots on the ground, could NATO do? Could NATO put together a better army than the one they armed , supplied and trained of Ukrainians? Of course they couldn't.
In an openly declared NATO/Russia war, what do you think are the chances of NATO troops and arms/equipment even getting to the front lines? How many could USA send, NATO's largest standing army, before the returning body bags make it untenable? Would USA seriously dare go to war with Russia directly? It is no longer 1917 or 1941 and the US is no longer protected from the direct effects of open war by the two oceans. Openly declared war with Russia would make certain that America would be directly attacked. What about NATO's second largest standing army, Turkiye? Who imagines for a second that they would send troops to fight Russians? What have the rest of NATO got? The UK army is a joke and couldn't send enough troops and equipment to last a month on a small part of the current front. Likewise the Germans and French. The bunch of ragtag Baltic states, Luxembourg(oh no not the Luxembourg Army) and the rest are a joke. NATO have no cards left to play and the current funding and hot air has more to do with US presidential election cycles than actually believing that "Ukraine can win". The US funding is only to delay the inevitable humiliating defeat and surrender of Ukraine(and by definition NATO) until after the election.
Day 814 of the humiliation and exposure as a paper tiger to the world.
