So now you are not apologising? Changed your mind?

We are not saying they are all lies - they are his opinion of JB - but a person is not tried on their character - and they are definitely not tried for murder because they are gay or dye their hair.

He had made up his mind from the beginning - so you obviously think he is a hero .

But perhaps not.

If it turns out JB is innocent I think you will look at his "notes" in a different light.

I thanked you. My thread was apologising for thinking what Grahame and Mike had called 'diaries' actually were diaries.

Not sure what they should be called now. But to me they are a 'primary' source.

It is not just his opinion. There is a lot of fact included.

People quoted in RB's alleged diary:

David
Ann
Anthony.
Jean
Basil.
Peter
Jeremy.
John Seabrook.
Leonard.
Doug Moule.
Miller.
Jim Carr.
Brett.
Jean Barwell.
Jones.
Jim ?
Stewart Sinclair.
Dr Ellis.
Barlow.
Freddie.
Colin.
Smith.
Julie.
Peter Simpson.

If it was all lies, he's leaving himself open. Anyone of the above could refute it.

All seems above board to me. Dates are put down. A lot of it is what he said, did, where he went, what people said to him, what he thought.

It can't really be disputed. And a lot of it backs up other evidence. But appreciate supporters now they realise how damaging it is will attempt to discredit it.

Are you suggesting that every person listed received a copy of said "diaries" in case they wished to refute what was said.

I'm sorry I thought this was a thread about Adam apologising? Must have come to the wrong place?

You never know.

If he did this before supplying his WS, the police would decide who else's name they want included in his final WS. The defence can then trace these people to see if RB was telling the truth.

As I said, leaving himself open if his 20 incriminating facts are made up.

As I have shown, it seems to have been more of an exercise in catharsis than any form of diary. As such, it's doubtful that he'd have cared less about what others may have thought. The only person he was seeking to incriminate was Jeremy. Whether he's merely convinced himself of OR believed in his guilt is immaterial.

It seems that RB's court WS was completed in December 85. Two months after the diaries.

After consideration, I believe that RB's diaries are a valid 'primary' source.

They were put in the archives and two supporters created threads on it's contents. Happy to discuss it as a reliable source.

To then claim they are unreliable after the diary content is looked at more deeply and highlights guilt,  is inappropriate.

The police suggested he write this up. Which he did, putting dates and giving over 20 sources. It was completed before his court witness statement. So the police can check all his sources.

The twenty points which incriminate Jeremy are facts and opinions which relate to other facts and opinions in the case.

I look forward to quoting RB in future but appreciate supporters will try to discredit his diaries.
