You are right. The brothers are named and have their pictures plastered all over the place. A third suspect was also named, an 18 year old, but it turned out that he had an alibi.... had nothing to do with the massacre.
This happened to a Danish man. A loner, bit weird. The body of a female was found in the cellar of his apartment block, she had been killed. He became a suspect, which is fair enough, everyone possible should be investigated. The problem was that the press had his
picture and name smacked on their pages, on internet and on TV. This went on for quite a while.
Turned out he was 100% cleared, he had nothing to do with the murder. He got a SMALL monetary compensation. Poor man.
That said, I can see that if there is strong suspicion and the suspects are deemed dangerous, then you must publish names and pictures, right? To alert and protect the public.
