Favorite Christmas Films
« on: December 19, 2014, 12:54:PM »
Apart from White Christmas I do love the Grinch...I think Mr Sadler is brilliant in this film. My grandchildren love it.  Although he is not one of my favorite actors his performance is outstanding.

My son told me other night that he had to be sent to clinic to overcome his role as Grinch because he could not shake the character off in real life.  How sad!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

No that's the one where whenever you hear a bell ring an angel gets their wings.

Awww yes. I love the old films. I used to sit every Sunday afternoon to watch the old black and white movies with my Gran...

I watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation the other night and it made me howl with laughter... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Love Chevy Chase and that particular film. Daughter met him in the singer " Prince's " club in Minneapolis. He looks just the same off-screen. A tall guy.

you have already named my favourites - the Grinch is a must and White Christmas

my favourite old films usually starred Gregory peck . To kill a mocking bird for example . When I was younger I loved curling up on the sofa and watching old black and white films.

James stewart as well - Harvey the invisible rabbit? Not a Christmas film but a classic

Not sure about its a wonderful life - I know its a classic - but not one of my favourites.

Love watching Home Alone!
I know, I know, but I also like Jingle All The Way with Arnold Scwarzenegger. It gets horrible reviews on IMDB, but I like it!  :P

Am recording a Christmas movie for later tonight!  ;D
