Hello april quite right we all know Jeremy phoned the police end of that discussion ;D ;D ;D

When you were a supporter you would say he is innocent as he would not have rung the police if guilty.

But he had no other sensible options.

Adam, it has long been established -NOTHING to do with any in put of yours- that those who believe Jeremy innocent accept that he phoned the police because he was concerned about what was happening at the farm. Those who believe him guilty thing he phoned the police for less altruistic reasons. NO ONE denies that he phoned the police. WHAT is the point of discussing it further?

Adam when I thought Jeremy was innocent did I say that I would have thought it was more likely he would ring the police as he would be so concerned but then again a guilty Jeremy would ring the police to establish an alibi.

How did it establish an alibi, it was the first thing people rejected. No way did he use it as an alibi for obvious reasons. It was the guilty party who made it in an alibi. Nowhere has Jeremy used that phone call as an alibi. It was made into an alibi by those who WANT him to be guilty. But take all the plain facts as they are then logic must dictate that Jeremy is not guilty.

Grahame, people are free to make of it what they want, but what CAN'T be argued is that the call was made.

Mr Gee sorry but one of the reasons I changed from innocent to guilty is the phone call from Ralph Bamber to Jeremy I have seen no proof that this phone call was made we only have Jeremy's word for it :'( Had the call taken place Jeremy would not have phoned Julie then the police after he had found their number in the phone book I know my logic would have been to get the police out to WHF as quickly as possible.  This alone in Jeremy's way of thinking was meant to convince EP of his innocence.  I have always posted on this forum these alleged phone calls  did Jeremy Bamber more harm than good.  None of us on this forum know what exactly happened we all perceive the events differently I don't see too much evidence to prove his innocence or guilt we are just discussing the matter.  I would never be so arrogant to say what you perceive is wrong of course you could be right and I wrong.

That hurts. I do not criticise you're threads. Oh sorry I forgot you have never created one.

Other people have brought it up before. So it is an important issue worthy of a thread. If you disagree, don't discuss.

Jeremy didn't even use Sheila as an alibi because once he told police of her illness,he could easily have said that this gun business had happened before but luckily without the same results as did happen. He could really have gone to town on that subject even by talking to Freddie and gathering a bit more info, but he didn't use anything or anybody. He didn't need to do if he was telling the truth.
Police aren't used to the truth, even amongst their own !
