Defining Moments
« on: December 15, 2014, 09:11:PM »
I have to keep bringing this subject up because it's one of the defining moments in WHF murder/suicide case when I was convinced Julie Mugford lied.

In Julie's words she says Jeremy was planning the murders for months.  She made it clear she believed it was an inheritance murder plot which would involve the murder of Jeremy's mother, father, sister and his 6 year old twin nephews.
In Julie's words Jeremy plotted these murders for months yet she quite happily continued this relationship.
Allegedly Jeremy rang her the night of the murders to 'fill her in' and tell her 'tonight's the night' when he would carry out the murders of all his family including his two small nephews. The plan that Jeremy had shared with her for many months.
The day after the murders Jeremy allegedly told Julie 'he should have been an actor'

It is clear that Julie gave Jeremy her full support even though allegedly he had made it clear he was responsible for the murders of his whole family.
If Jeremy was guilty Julie and Jeremy would not have known if the police had 'bought' the Sheila/suicide plot.
Julie was an intelligent girl and I am almost certain she would have been aware of Anne Eatons suspicions regarding the murder/suicide???

Why would she offer to go to the mortuary?

She planned to be a school teacher and the sight of the bodies would surely haunt her forever?

If her 'stories' about the planned murders were true and she could have prevented them she knew she ran the risk to have charges against her

If Jeremy really was guilty and the truth came out Julie would have known how it would look if she had visited the mortuary and viewed the bodies of June, Neville, Sheila and the twins

Any Judge would have given her the maximum sentence for her involvement

She would have been vilified by the press when they found out Julie had visited the mortuary knowing her boyfriend was responsible

I think it is clear if Julie knew Jeremy had ANY involvement in the murders she would NEVER have gone anywhere near the mortuary

Julie did not contact the police herself and may never have done

In her jealous rage Julie told her friend she believed Jeremy was responsible for the murders

This set off a chain of events that led to Jeremy's arrest

Because details of many of Julie's interviews have been witheld gives me further reason to believe Julie lied.

The police had enough  information from Julie to charge her.

The police did NOT have to give her immunity?

The focus of this case should now we getting ALL the interviews regarding Mugford released

I have never heard any good reason for this information to be witheld

I agree because if she had any morals she would have taken that opportunity whilst she was alone with the police, with protection, to do the right thing.

And yes the interviews are important and why should they be kept secret?
