After telling Susan Battersby,  Julie told Liz Rimmington and then Andy and Karen Bishop. Karen saying she was not surprised that money was the motivational factor, as Jeremy always spoke about it.

It would be very naughty of Jeremy to say to Brett I am going out to a party and you can't come.  Brett was a friend and an overseas visitor....I believe that JM was jealous that Brett tagged along, but what else could he do?

Ha! The toast of the engagement.....not a nice thing to do IMO.  It would have been embarrassing.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well Brett arrived in England two months before the massacre. Upon hearing the news he started sniffing around looking for an extended jolly up. Or Jeremy invited him over.

Nothing wrong with that is there? Brett had stopped over on a flying visit to see Jeremy before he left for Greece and upon learning of the tragedy he returned to England to support his friend and why not? I am sure that all Brett wanted to do was to try to cheer Jeremy up and be beside his friend.

All this about going on a jolly boys outings does not mean that Jeremy is guilty. It could mean that after the tragedies his mates tried to ensure that he had a good time and Jeremy went along with it.

If you think for one minute that Jeremy enjoyed his champagne the evening of his parents funerals you are wrong....for Jeremy stood at the bar away from the frivolities at the table in a sombre mood and chattered to the bar owner.  At the time the owner did not know who Jeremy was, but he was able to say in his statement that Jeremy was not out enjoying himself with the rest of the party that he was with....

With all respect it appears that Jeremy does not stand a chance of anything said being fair against him. Once a seed has been planted in the mind that he enjoyed his night on the day on the funeral, he then becomes guilty of murder.

Facts, forensic evidence takes a 2nd step...  :o

Well Jeremy testified he drank champagne at the funeral.

He kept away from the relatives. Staying with a group of friends. The 'The funeral, a time to grieve or a time to celebrate' goes into more detail.

Julie also spoke to Malcolm Walters, Liz Rimmington's ex boyfriend about Bamber's involvement.

Bamber had threatened her if she went to the police. Walters told her to go straight to the police.

So it appears that the very motive the prosecution accused Bamber of was in fact based upon "hearsay"?

In fact Patti it would be true to say that forensics played absolutely no part in the conviction of Jeremy Bamber? The case against Bamber was indeed based entirely upon others accusations against Bamber that could not be verified one way or the other, in short circumstantial evidence "so called".

Again nothing to verify Mugford's accusation of course.

Well the forensic evidence shows it was not Sheila.

Other things such as June being shot with her head on the pillow. Neville abandoning his family after being shot upstairs & Neville being so brutally beaten also highlight Bamber's guilt.

There is also the silencer evidence. Although both the relatives and prosecution claimed there was enough evidence without it.

The window/hack saw forensic evidence shows Bamber could quietly enter WHF. And then exit WHF locking the window from outside.

The judge said there was also a mountain of circumstantial evidence & curious co incidences. He also said he had a motive, inheritance killers being around for centuries. Although in this case there were lots of other motivational factors.

But of course NOTHING to connect Bamber to the crime. This question was not about Sheila, but about Bamber. Forensically Bamber is innocent. That is what first has to be established. All that is left of course is negative. You basically left with an unproven accusation by Mugford which you either believe or do not believe.

If the forensic evidence says it was not Sheila, who was it ?

Anyway there was enough evidence. Which is why he was charged, it went through the DPP, he was convicted a d has failed several appeals.

Is April contributing to any threads ?

No. Just posting to or about me again.

I am contributing to the Stan/Taff thread which someone else created. Showing how Taff's view was over ridden. Correctly.

As well as who Julie spoke to prior to Stan Jones.

Anyway surprise me. Create a thread. Even Lookout did yesterday. Although a thread on the subject already existed.
