Because the rifle was comparatively new,it would have had an end cap ? Where was this ? Who had it ?

If you mean a plug, weapons don't come with plugs and I don't know many people who get and use plugs to protect weapons.  The only plugs I have ever dealt with were blank adapters.  They block the barrel so that nothing can shoot out while firing blanks.

Surely a protector does as it says, protects the end of the barrel particularly when it's stored with other guns, because if the end of the barrel gets damaged,it buggers the accuracy of the rifle ?

One of the problems is that if she did get off the bed on Nevill's side (because the killer was so close to her side so obviously she would want to run away) why would she then walk around to the killer on her side?  Either the killer was chasing her around the bed (and there doesn't seem to be that much room in the bedroom for that) or she went to the door, and collapsed before managing to get out, after the killer already left for the kitchen.  That would mean the shot between her eyes was fired after Nevill was killed in the kitchen like Harters thinks, (Harters believes she was shot between the eyes after Nevill was killed in the kitchen just to make sure she was dead). Either the shooting in the bedroom happened very fast (and Jeremy and Nevill left the room very quickly) for her to be able to survive long enough to do that or she survived longer than one would expect possible from such a severe head wound.  Either way it is hard to imagine her having the ability to walk around the bed through the killer so the killer had to be out of the way for her to be able to move.

I don´t think she got up on Nevill´s side of the bed. If you look at the bed, the covers don´t tell that story.
Perhaps the shooter thougth she was dead from the head wound or had no time to check it. She may have been alone in the bedroom when she got out of bed while the killer was dealing with Nevill.
Why she went to Nevill¨s side of the bed is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps to go check on the twins, then was distracted?
Or maybe the lab made a mistake and it wasn´t her blood.

Picking up an animal gets blood on your hands and thus blood can be transferred to the weapon by touching it or even putting it down in a place where animal blood was.  Removing the moderator with animal blood on your hands is enough to transfer it.

At any rate I still have not seen any documents that indicate animal blood was found on the weapon or moderator.  Let's start with the supposed evidence to see if there really was any animal blood or there is no point in further discussion even. The lab notified the police on 8/14/85 they found human blood and paint on the moderator nothing about animal blood.  Nor has animal blood been mentioned in any court documents.  The post conviction analysis done by "Justice for All" doesn't mention animal blood being found.  So where is the source for this claim.

80. It is submitted that Glynnis Howard at Huntingdon Forensics was in receipt of sound moderator SBJ/1 on 13th August 1985. While David Boutflour asserted that the sound moderator he had discovered had paint and blood on it.
81. Glynnis Howard at trial, describes her removing blood. She never stated that she had tested the moderator for paint, instead she had discovered both human and animal blood on the moderator, (see document S10).
82. Indeed COLP found that Glynnis Howard was instructed by DI Cook, ‘basically to look for blood on the silencer, (and rifle),’ (see COLP Allegation 2, paragraph 2.53, 001917), thereby implying that the paint was not tested due to it not being in issue.

I think you owe me an apology.

"You spend all your time in fantasy land ignoring reality and pretending that Jeremy's defense team is stupid so tha tis why they can't even find a way to allege that the blood was planted.  The reality is they have no evidence to make the allegation the blood was planted."

I am just glad I don't live in Skippy land - your BS is no better than any other poster.

Just more of  it.

There is not a clear view of the covers of the bed to show if she moved to Nevill's side but I still think she just got up and collapsed as she tried to get to the door.

What documents are there indicating the blood was June's?  We have seen Mike et al misrepresent things that are nto true too many times.  It is necessary at this point to make sure of what the facts are before assessing them. June and Sheila had the same blood type only the enzye they didn't share would enable the blood to be differentiated. Is there anything explaining how many spots were tested from that side and if Ak2-1 was found in any?

2002 Appeal Judgement:
57. Five carpet samples taken from the main bedroom were examined and found to bear numerous spots of dripped blood. These were tested and found to match the blood groupings of June Bamber. Wallpaper from the hallway to the left-hand side of the kitchen door was found, on examination, to be stained with human blood consistent with the blood grouping shared by Nevill Bamber and the twin boys. Since the boys seem to have been shot in their beds, it is a clear inference that this was Mr. Bamber's blood.

I rather think it's Sheila's blood on account of the blood patch she had on the rear of her nightdress. She must have sat on that edge.

1) the document you are quoting from is not evidence, it is a defense allegation.  That defense document is full of erroneous claims so not of any value except so far as saying someone else came up with the claim not just Mike.

2) I don't see on the handwritten page you attached mention the finding of animal blood do you have a copy that is more legible?

Nevermind, I found a more legible source. It says at the end there was human blood and 2 other animals.  It doesn't assess what those animals were though so no basis to say it was rabbit as opposed to two different animals. So either the weapon was used to shoot 2 different kinds of animals or someone transferred the blood there.  Since it is the very end logic would suggest it is back spatter

Is this the only document that mentions the animals or did she note somewhere what kind of animals they were?

This still doesn't warrant an apology for me saying it is stupid to think that the lab and Lincoln mistook animal blood for human blood inside the moderator.  This notes no finding of animal blood in the moderator and finding it outside doesn't mean it would get inside which requires a contact shot which there is no indication ever happened. Even if some had been found inside that only helps show they can tell the difference between animal blood and human blood it doesn't support the suggestion the lab and Lincoln misidentified animal blood as human.
