It shows how much I now know about politics. I'd assumed Left because of Ian Hislop.

There is a thread - 'Was Sheila carried to the main bedroom'. She was very light so I do not see why Jeremy could not have carried her a few feet. Or she was lead, or retreated.

Either way Colin Caffell said she would have shot herself with her children.

As I said, it is a non-starter for me - it is an absurd suppostition and I couldn“t care less about your thread.

Would like to add that you seem to find pleasure in portraying Sheila as a blathering idiot, a child-like woman. You keep using derogatory language about her and this claim of Jeremy carrying her without her waking up is plain humiliating. I resent it very strongly.

Unlike Leo Mckinstry I do not think Bamber's supporters are 'creepy'.

However there is a thing called 'self denial'. People get lost that way. Refusing to accept they are going the wrong way and turning back. I got lost in Tenerife once doing that.

After decades of supporting Jeremy, his remaining supporters are refusing to change stance. Justifying, making excuses for or not accepting the mountain of forensic and circumstantial evidence. Or the motive, opportunity and no alibi. Preferring to support the triple alibi theory Jeremy is always bringing up.

I can assure you that I'm NOT making excuses, you cheeky sod.
It's what I choose to believe, because I'm at liberty to do so. I don't make snide remarks because you find him guilty,so quit vilifying those who are either " on the fence " or in the innocent camp.

SELF denial is something quite other than being IN denial and doing one doesn't necessarily imply the presence of the other. You appear to be suggesting that Jeremy's supporters are denying themselves the (pleasurable?) experience of believing Jeremy guilty -although they're unlikely to agree. You could, more correctly, say that they're in denial but it would only be your opinion so they'd be even more likely to disagree.

I assume you eventually managed to find yourself in Tenerife.

I did find survive my 'lost in Tenerife' episode. Sadly without the assistance of any of the beautiful ladies on the beach.
