or perhaps they are ? If it was such an open and shut case??? excuse the pun - why were the police back on the 13th august 1986 to check the window of exit? Why did jones say he had never seen evidence that the window could be locked from the outside and why did the appeal say it was irrelevant and they did not have to prove it happened on the night just because of what Jeremy said in his statements?

you believe Anne and Robert that is the basis of your closure - personally IMO I don't think that Jeremy would be exiting on the night and banging the window time and time again to make sure it was secure from the inside. And I would have like to have seen a clear statement from Barlow - rather than his evidence in court . So in my mind this is not "closed"
BTW - dates in evidence are EXTREMELY important.
