Jackie,he wouldn't be getting any help at all if it was,or had been proved 100% that he'd murdered his family. As it stands,it proves the uncertainty in his conviction.

I dont quite understand the phone calls.  Curious Essex used to post some great stuff about the technical side.  CE used to express the first phone call from JB as being the first instance where anyone in the outside world is informed that something has taken place at WHF.

I do struggle with there having been a call from Ralph not disclosed to the relatives in the early stages.  Clearly that would have rebuffed the relatives, if there had been two separate calls to police from different numbers.

They would not support Jeremy if the telephone logs were definitive proof of guilty and Jeremy would not have known if call logs were available

would they?

Who said the calls proved guilt? It can't be proved one way or the other whether Nevill called Jeremy. However, given that Jeremy is saying he did points to him being elsewhere when the murders occurred (he can't be at home talking to Nevill and at WHF committing the murders). If you believe he is innocent, then such a call gives him an alibi (he was at home when the murders were committed or outside WHF with police). However, if you think he's guilty, he killed the family and made up the story about the call. Either way, the call links him to what happened because he is saying he spoke to his father just before he died. Obviously the people who try and help, believe their was such a call. The call doesn't prove his guilt you have misunderstood the significance.

West read out his account of what happened and mentioned the log and what was in it. Bonnett's log was available for jury. If Jeremy didn't know this, it wouldn't be written on the OS. But again, no one said they are definitive proof of guilt, you misunderstand the significance.

I don't misunderstand anything and I am also sceptical that there was no proof available regarding the calls

In nearly every single miscarriage of justice case that has been overturned important evidence has been witheld or hidden

Caroline instead of sitting up all night posting about phone calls that can't be proved either why don't you make an effort to get witheld evidence released and the answers you are looking for could be right there

I created a thread on Red on this.

With the overwhelming evidence of Jeremy's guilt, it is more appropriate to support Jeremy because you think the conviction is unsafe. Rather than because of innocence.

I will transfer it over.

Please do not transfer posts from the red forum over to this one Adam, it is not acceptable for you to do such a thing.

Posters on Red don't seem overly excited by it, either.
