Amsterdam and more suspicions:
« on: November 26, 2014, 04:13:AM »
Jeremy, Brett and Julie went to Amsterdam. Travelling first class,  staying in a 5 star hotel - Hotel de l'Europe and eating out in Amsterdam's most exclusive restaurants.

This was part holiday, part business. Cannabis was being purchased. And smuggled back in toothpaste tubes and moisturising containers.

Jeremy forgot to bring the return tickets. So purchased a set of new first class tickets. After the mini crisis they all smoked Cannabis on the journey home to help recover.

AE discovered June's bike at the back of Jeremy's cottage while he was in Amsterdam. The wheel rims & tyres were covered in yellow mud.

Jeremy had decided to go to dinner with friends and then onto the Notting Hill carnival when arriving back in England. He told Ann  that he was selling everything inside WHF, apart from a few things he was keeping for himself.

The silencer test results were three weeks away & the police had refused to search Jeremy's cottage. Despite the relatives request.

An impatient AE & RB drove to the empty WHF to try an experiment. From outside she tapped a kitchen window.  The catch fell into place. Locking the window from outside and making it impossible to use to gain access into WHF from.

The police were contacted.

the most ironic thing is that if he was guilty he would have been making absolutely sure that his reactions after the murders would NOT arouse suspicion . He would have planned that as well.

Also if you read Colins book his  own reactions were hardly text book either - and he was with Jeremy a lot of the time and did not notice anything odd about his behaviour until after he found out he was a suspect.

He obviously thought he had done enough on the night, the following morning & at the funeral. He should have been an actor. He was not a criminal mastermind, this being his first big crime.

He told Julie he was 'watertight'  & it was an 'open & shut case'. The relatives could suspect if they wanted to, but there was no evidence. He thought.

Come on Adam - if he was guilty he had in error set up a suicide with two shots - and according to you made  even morefundamental errors about the call, calling Julie, pretending to be sick, boasting to the police about buying cars , telling all her friends he was the only one that knew what had happened  etc etc

So in your eyes he made all these most simple of errors and yes he would be so supremely confident that he had fooled everyone that he could act like a total prat and no one would notice?

Your arguments just do not make sense.

I am afraid they do make sense. To you they do not as you are still clinging to the 'Jeremy is innocent' ( & the world's unluckiest man) stance.

Jeremy acted the way he did after the massacre because he thought he was 'watertight' & it was an 'open & shut case'. He was not aware the relatives or some police were suspicious.

He told Julie there was nothing she could do and believed there was no evidence incriminating him.

The claim that he would act this way if it was Sheila is weak. Most people would spend weeks in shock if their family had been massacred in one day. Not go on immediate drug buying trips to Amsterdam.

I see even in your sweeping assumptions you state only 'most' people would be in shock for 'weeks' after their family had been massacred, am interested in how you imagine shock affects people?  Do you have a picture of someone howling by a graveside because, I assure you in many ways Jeremy Bamber's reaction was very typical of a person in deep shock.  Many people (especially  the young) are far more likely to go out partying than quietly weeping day and night in my experience.  His behaviour doesn't prove he was innocent but neither does it prove he was guilty.

You forgot the word "allegedly" in all that.

He'd have looked a bit sick if the police had barged straight into the farmhouse with Jeremy in tow the minute that they'd arrived, would he not ? After having " just murdered all his family? Would Jeremy have been aware that that might have happened ?

There were all kinds of situations that Jeremy seemed oblivious to,but he wasn't unduly panicking in any way,nor appeared uncomfortable,as it's been said many times that he was cool, calm and collected. Which doesn't tell me that he'd just allegedly murdered all his family, and that he wasn't found to be insane, etc.

the trip that Julie was quite happy to go on as well? even having to id the children she knew he had killed?

And I am sorry to say it only makes sense to you because you have clung on to your theories and scenarios.

you are saying he was not in the slightest bit worried that it had gone wrong and he had to beat up Neville and shoot Sheila twice? ( in your scenario) It was still open and shut?

according to you he may as well have left a calling card - but no he was not worried at all.
