Something else which I have wondered about, does Jeremy still have any contact with his relatives given what has transpired or has he been ostracised?

I read somewhere that Nevill's estate was divided between the uncles/aunts/cousins.  I also read that one of the farms is up for sale.

I understand that Jeremy could not inherit as he was found guilty of murdering Nevill but, what would happen if Jeremy is subsequently cleared which is a possibility??

I have my own take on this but would appreciate your views guys.

Having seen the documentary this evening and having viewed it twice just to make sure, I am now more convinced than ever that Jeremy was indeed involved in the murders.  There are issues which I found extremely interesting in the documentary and which point to Jeremy's culpability.  I will keep these points under wraps until later today.

John, when are you able to let us have the points you refer to above?

If JB was to have his conviction overturned and was released,he would be entitled to his original inheritence.

But in practice what would this mean as the farms and properties have changed hands and had much done to them over the years?

You cannot go back to the way things were at the time of the murders.

Suppose it would depend on the manner of his release.

If hes aquitted of all charges due to new evidence coming to light that he is 100% innocent then maybe he would be entitled to claim the value of what he is owed in compensation.

If however he is freed on a technicality due to insufficient evidence or police incompetance but NOT proved innocentidoubt he will get a penny of what hes owed!

Said it before many a man has been freedon a technicality but it doesnt mean they are innocent.

That's very true , I find the whole issue quite a legal minefield.

I am quite convinced that Nevill and June didn't trust Jeremy and were somewhat suspicious of his activities. They were right to be so concerned but alas it was too late for them, Sheila and the boys.

The crime was one of the most despicable ever carried out and it takes a certain type of psycho to do such a thing.  What do we know of Jeremy's mental state prior to the murders?

David Boutflour did not inherit directly anyway, so he must have been referring to money he got from his mother, Pamela Boutflour.

This reminds me of that saying:

"The first generation in a family makes money, the second generation holds or keeps the money and the third generation squanders or loses the money."

I found this contention by the defence quite interesting.

"Sheila might have placed the silencer in the cupboard, changed her clothes, and washed herself, which would explain why there was little lead on her hands, or sugar from the floor on her feet."

So what happened to the dirty clothes then and was this before or after she shot herself twice?

Do you mean she could have been naked when she shot everyone, then washed before getting dressed and shooting herself?

What about the altercation with Nevill. Shelia's body had no marks or bruises on it consistent with having been in a fight.
