Possible Contamination of at least one silencer

Another silencer was dismantled and rebuilt by Detective Inspector Ronald Walter Cook (SOC) on 29th August 1985, opening up for the possibility of innocent or accidental contamination, since the rebuilt silencer was physically screwed onto the barrel of the bloodstained Bamber rifle, before both were dispatched to the lab' to be examined and tested on 30th August 1985...

The silencer involved in these activities, could not have been the Bamber silencer (DRB/1) because it had not yet been found in the gun cupboard by David Boutflour, and would not be found until 11th September 1985...
