Follower Plate markings on last bullets fired from magazine of gun, and fired from rifle...
The first bullet loaded into the ammunition magazine for the .22 Anshulz rifle, would be distinctively marked by it coming into contact with a metal plate which is operated by a spring, situated inside the ammunition magazine of the weapon. All the other bullets which are loaded into the magazine after this first one, sit atop the other additional bullets which are loaded thereafter into the magazine...
Therefore, if ten (10) bullets are loaded into the magazine of the gun, there will be distinctive markings on one bullet case which is ejected from the weapon that contains or bears this distinctive mark, known as the follower plate mark. By a reliance upon this mark, it could be possible to establish at the scene, where the last of the bullets from each of the separate loads of the ammunition magazine, was discharged from the weapon during the incident, since the first bullet loaded would be the last bullet fired, in the following sequence:-
Order Bullets Loaded into magazine of gun
First bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in last position from rifle
Second bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in ninth position from rifle
Third bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in eighth position from rifle
Fourth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in seventh position from rifle
fifth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in sixth position from rifle
Sixth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in fifth position from rifle
Seventh bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in fourth position from rifle
Eighth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in third position from rifle
Ninth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in Second position from rifle
Tenth bullet loaded into magazine of gun - fired in First position from rifle
