I really wouldn't know,April. Though I've had pink notices telling me I can't post while someone else is postion,since I joined,but I've learnt to ignore it and to just press " post " 2 or 3 times until it sends.

Probably because you have sent PMs to multiple recipients.

It is meant to be an hourly limit.  I think in your case it must be recording cumulatively.

I no longer think the counter was recording cumulatively.  I think it counts multiple recipients so the total increased dramatically as a result of the total number of recipints receiving messages within the hour.

The number of recipients per meassage has now been set at 5, with an hourly limit of 10.  Please let me know if this causes any problems.

Since the number of PM's an hour has been messed around with, I've just taken to mostly messaging on the red rather than the blue to people that have accounts on both - better that than waiting an hour.

Why would you presume the messages would be funny? Perhaps 'everyone' should post their PM's on the forum in that case? Of course that would defeat the object of them being 'personal' .
