Morning April  when Colin went to Sheila's flat Jeremy had the photo's and told Colin the others he had were much more revealing but he never showed them to Colin.  Jeremy had the flat full of beautiful old possessions from whf that he was putting to auction and Colin tried to talk him out of it but to no avail.  He liked to flash the cash and pay for all the meals and drinks saying he had withdrawn money for the mens wages but took extra to spend himself.

Susan, that was the other point I was trying to make. Jeremy plus Brett MAY have approached the Sun, but it seems to me that other than acting like gobby kids, they gave no visual proof to the Sun- OR ANYONE ELSE- that SUCH pictures ever existed.

Morning April, according to Claire Powell, they did/do exist. Jeremy and Brett were like a pair of giggling schoolboys when they saw them. Typical !  ;D
These were ones taken in Sheilas' friends' garden apparently.

Lookout, I'm not saying pictures don't EXIST. I'm saying pictures DON'T exist of the hardcore type that Jeremy and Brett are suggesting. HAD they, I feel certain they'd have offered one as a "taster" to the man from the Sun.

HI girls

according to Colin pictures of Sheila did exist of her posing semi nude Jeremy said he had much more revealing ones but Colin was never shown them.  At the time all Jeremy could think of is what he was going to get for the family heirlooms.  Very sad he sold all this stuff.

Not hardcore so far as I know, but at the same time leave little to the imagination. I'd personally say, distasteful.

At the time the wills had not been finalised. Although Jeremy had wasted no time in seeing his lawyer.

He was refusing to work on the farm, but wanted to go on drug buying holidays, spend time on a jolly up with Brett, and check out playboy mansion St Tropez.

It is not surprising he was rummaging around Sheila's flat looking for things to tide him over. And not surprising he made the offer to the Sun.
'Only I know what really happened that night'.

Unfortunately as we have nothing to go on excepy her book and hearsay it would be wrong to speculate what kind of pictures they were? If they were real "porn" pictures as they are made out to be by some the Sun would not even consider publishing them even today let alone back in 1985 and I can't imagine Bamber and Collins trying to sell them to the newspaper as they would have known that it would have been a futile action.

No,they weren't porn,Mr G, more on the lines of " using props " if you can imagine that, though nothing explicit.Apparently, the use of these " props " didn't go down well with either the house-owner,whose garden it was that Sheila had used,or the neighbours when they found out.

As you can imagine, there was a furore between mother and daughter, when the church-going mother found out about them.
I imagine that these little " behind the scenes acts of defiance " didn't help to smooth the rough waters of the mother/daughter relationship. In fact,June would have been hairless,I imagine. :o

Yes but I have seen an alleged conversation that took place between Bamber, Collins and the Sun reader I mean a Sun reporter telling him that they showed everything etc. So it has been suggested that they were porn by some.

I stand by my belief that Jeremy and Brett exaggerated the contents. Who could say otherwise as they didn't give a sneak preview.
