Well they aren't normal,that's for sure.

Not knowing right from wrong defines insanity whereas psychopaths know what they are doing is wrong but don't really care. If someone acts in the spur of the moment they can be classed as temporarily insane (jealous rage etc.) but a psychopath is considered to have an antisocial personality - but not insane.

They're delightfully liberated from that restrictive thing we call conscience.

Much the same as ADHD in children and some adults. Very similar traits.
