I would just like to comment on Adams first post. My father and my grandfather were farmers both from and early age. My father worked 6 days a week , minimum of 10 -12 hours a day in all weathers and never in his working life earnt more that £70 per week.  And he went out in all weathers every day .

And he loved it and so did my grandfather.

Jeremy was relatively well paid and had share in two business at a young age .

sometimes I wonder if you don't think about what you post or just do it for affect.

It may not have been cool for him to like farming - but as I said before he was not a slave , he could have just left.

Yes I do think about my threads and posts thanks.

What you're relatives liked is neither here or there.

He could not walk away. He tried that but had no qualifications or specific skills to get the finances to live the high life. He was not going to be financed for more jaunts abroad. He said in court Neville's will tied him to the farm in order to inherit. Julie confirming this in her WS.

His money was not great for someone working long hours. In fact the long hours were probably just as much of an issue. No time or energy to wear nice suits.

The perks may have been reduced. Neville complained to BW about how much Jeremy and Sheila were costing. Jeremy's WS saying there were discussions about Sheila moving into his cottage. Which he had just spent over £1,000 furnishing. Oh dear.

"I have never met a young man who liked working 14/17 hours a day outside in the English weather. Unless they were earning millions"

So this statement is neither here nor there either - because your opinions on who you have met or neot met in your life are not relevant either.

And what is your source as to wht would have happened if Sheila had moved into the cottage ? What were the plans for Jeremy? How do you know if they were good or bad ? I have shown you documentary evidence about what he said to Anne about the possible termination of the lease on WHF - and what the family were going to use the money for , and what were they going to do with Sheilas flat if she moved out ?

you are assuming you know what the plans of june and Neville were and you don't actually know.

I have no idea what they planned to do with Jeremy if Sheila moved into his cottage. It didn't happen, did it ?

Anyway a thread was created on this. There are several potential options which would have turned Jeremy ballistic.

Exactly - so why did you make out his life was about to get worse ?

it might have been about to get better?

Anne seemed very upset about the fact he was pleased about future plans and she ripped down the toilet paper.

Adam as you well know I did not miss that thread - and as I pointed out before there were ongoing plans that may or may not have come to pass in respect of property and land. See my post about WHF /Anne /wallpaper

I am disagreeing with your point that Jeremy had something happening in his life that would have made his living arrangements or financial situation worse - as some kind of indication of motive. Because I can not see have you have shown that at all.

Well it's doubtful he would have gone to somewhere bigger, otherwise Sheila would have gone straight there.

His location was good and near to work. Having to move would be a wrench as he had spent a lot of time and money decorating his cottage. Moving is always stressful. And so is decorating again.

There are lots of potential bad scenarios of Sheila moving into Jeremy's cottage. As the thread stated.

There was a possibility of good outcomes. But Neville had been complaining about how much Jeremy and Sheila were costing. So the whole idea was probably a cost saving scheme.

One thing is for sure - 'there were discussions about Sheila moving into Jeremy's cottage'. Source ? Jeremy's WS.

What was the position with her flat ?

who owned that and what mortgage was there?

you need to look at the fuller picture.

The big picture was Neville had spent thousands on Sheila's medical bills. And was paying for her flat in London. Expensive.

and?

If they sold her flat and saved money on the mortgage - put her in Jeremys cottage perhaps they would have rented him somewhere bigger- after all as Neville said to the estate manager he was happy for him to start taking more responsibility.

How do you know that was not going to happen?

I am impressed at you're fire fighting. In the face of other Jeremy supporters changing their stance.

At the end of the day, Jeremy said he may have to leave his cottage and move to a smaller property. The reason is because Sheila was going to enjoy the cottage he had expensively furnished.

There are lots of bad scenarios for Jeremy in this situation. You choose to look at the potential good scenario.

Anyway the thread question. In response to Jeremy's supporters claims. Did Jeremy love farming ?

RB said Neville said Jeremy never showed any interest in farming. And quit in the middle of the harvest.

Perhaps Lookout was right and he was 'the laziest man alive".
