The professor said Sheila was not standing or sitting up when shot.
This suggests Jeremy could have carried her across the hallway and laid her down. Or he bundled her to the floor after leading her to the bedroom. Either way, Sheila showed no signs of a struggle.
What ? Floating around, then ! Of course she'd be sitting. After that first shot, which my own personal theory was that she was shot from a short distance, albeit skewed because it hit her jawbone and shattered ( you know, the bullet that suddenly became a whole one at the trial ?) which would have put her out of action for a short spell giving her enough time to retrieve the rifle-------------but after that I DON'T know how she came by that second shot.
In varying links,it's been stated that the rifle was found on the bedroom floor,by her side,or between June and Sheila on the bed,so how can YOU know how events unfolded when nobody else does ?
I remain baffled by the second gunshot, and admit to not having a clue about how it was administered, but neither shots were by her own hand, nor were they made by Jeremy either.
Professors don't always know everything you know. You'll learn that as you go along.
