Well for one thing a little girl saw. Her mother didn't seem to care but I felt weird and no it's not small I felt weird because a little girl saw me period.

I guess a little girl's eyes are at hem level, so raising the hem must be a real temptation. If she didn't have a little brother her Mummy had some explaining to do :D

Perhaps you know them as breeches. It isn't traditional for underwear to be worn under kilts but sometimes it's necessary to check just in case someone has cheated.

I heard of britches I just don't really know what they are beyond pants of some kind (hearing it is sayins merely), I never even heard of breeches till now, the only breech I knew of was the breech of a gun.  I have never been on a farm or been into equestrian type things.

It was being checked with a little girl standing nearby that I took issue with.

It was the red plaid ones, I hate the color red my favorite color is blue but I like green as well so actually would have preferred the green plaid.

Something like this was the color I wanted but they said it was not traditional:

An interesting poll just now on my local news. It references the programme,Execution, which is on tonight. From the letters sent in--------only two people were against the death penalty.

As I prefer subtle colours, I would go for green or heather tones but red is the one everyone recognizes. I think it's called Royal Stuart.

Soz I forgot you're from over the pond I wrote 'britches' because that's how we say it up in the frozen north (heaven forbid Reader might be about with his red pen of doom). Britches (or breeches) are just pants - they may get 'twisted' or 'fall down' when one gets aerated.  Keep tight hold! ;D ;D ;D

I can wear two tartans---------the Manx, which is blues/greens/purples,and a Scottish tartan which has variations in colour,reds/blues/greens.
